Delete Your Account or Data

This page explains how to delete your Weather Alerts account (developer: William Halloran), or specific pieces of your data, without deleting your account entirely. See our Privacy Policy for what we collect and why.

Delete Your Entire Account

This is done entirely within the app:

• Open the Weather Alerts app and sign in
• Go to Settings
• Scroll to the Danger Zone section
• Tap Delete Account and confirm

This permanently removes your account credentials, all saved locations, Weather Profiles, app settings, push notification token, and notification history.

Retention: deleted immediately upon confirmation — we don't hold onto any of it afterward.

Delete Specific Data (without deleting your account)

You can remove individual pieces of your data at any time, while keeping your account active:

• Delete a saved location — from My Locations, tap Delete on the location you want to remove
• Delete a Weather Profile — open the profile and tap Delete
• Turn off notifications — Settings → turn off Enable Notifications
• Turn off personalized ads — Settings → turn off Personalized Ads

Retention: each of these takes effect immediately.

Can't Access the App?

If you've lost access to your device or account and need your data deleted, email us at williamjhalloran@gmail.com from the address associated with your account. We'll process the request within 30 days.
